Tyrrell's Special Release Verdelho 2025

Special Release Verdelho is a blend of two of the best parcels of Verdelho fruit of the vintage. This wine was sourced from the Pokolbin Hills and Stevens vineyards which are both situated at the southern end of Pokolbin, at the base of the Brokenback range.

2025 was an exceptional vintage in the Hunter Valley for whites. Favourable conditions throughout the early parts of harvest, coupled with abundant rain ahead of the growing
season meant crops levels were high, as was the quality of fruit.

Harvest took place in the early hours of the morning when the fruit is at its coolest. The grapes were lightly pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures before bottling early to maintain freshness.

An unwooded, early drinking style, the wine has intense varietal characteristics with aromas of limes, sweet fruit, and some spice. The fruit sweetness on the palate is balanced by a refreshingly crisp acid finish.
