Arianna Occhipinti definitely has a thing for Frappato, considering her 'Vino di Contrada' project which produces three different iterations of the grape, all grown in different parts of a vineyard and each offering something unique. The Occhipinti Fossa di Lupo FL is the most austere of the trio, yet shows magnificent acidity and fruitiness, ageing and developing in bottle gracefully.
