Good Intentions Wine Co Limestone Coast Chardonnay 2023

Mt Gambier fruit from a cooler site, grown on flinty, rocky soils over limestone give the wine a schist driven mineral focus with precision. Bright acidity and direct. Barrel fermented and elevage in old neutral french oak barrels. Coonawarra site is warmer. The well know V and A lane vineyards known for some of the best grapes in the region. Planted on Clay based soils, producing richer fruit. 

Sites are fermented and aged separately and blended pre bottling.

Fleshy, rounded palate with a creamy, textural finish. Combined this creates a more-ish, balanced chardonnay with a medium weight which has bright acidity and a mineral drive with great palate weight.
