Unmistakably varietal, though in a bright and juicily ripe way, eschewing dusty savouriness for buoyantly luscious cherry notes. That’s not to say it’s a fruit bomb, rather it’s a wine that celebrates primary flavours while also acknowledging the varietal tendency to structural firmness. A bright exciting wine with a lot of love about it. Lush red fruits on the nose, red cherries and raspberries with a hint of earthy spice. The subtle but defined tannins, coupled with fresh acidity provide a well rounded mouthfeel, that leaves you wanting to come back for more. Open a bottle and you'll quickly be looking for another.
