Doom Juice La Rossa 2024

Made this one with cozy afternoons and pissy lunches in mind — the kind of wine that works just as well fireside as it does in the sun. La Rossa brings together Lagrein, Graciano, and Nero d’Avola from the Riverland, full of warmth and ripe, dark fruit. It spent 4 months in barrel and another 3 resting in bottle to smooth things out and add a bit of depth. Medium-bodied and silky, it’s packed with cherries, blackberries, and a hint of dried oregano. A short chill brings everything into focus. There’s a little oak in the background, but it’s the soft, fresh tannins that keep you coming back. A perfect red for the cooler months here in Australia — easy, comforting, and ready to pour. Chill her down for about 5 in the fridge and off you go!
