Domaine de Chatillon Monduese 2021

Vibrant magenta colour with aromas of violets , raspberry & white pepper. On the palate it's medium bodied & fresh with supple well integrated tannins. Flavours of crushed strawberry, red currents, blueberry & wood spice with a hint of cacao, the finish is clean & refreshing with a hint of savouriness.

2021 was a challenging year from start to finish, with frost and hail causing a large reduction in volume with an average of 40% decrease in yield. Red wines are showing a herbaceous and lighter body due to the cooler season and increased rainfall, which bring the herbal tone to the wines.
