COS Rami 2023

From the hills of Vittoria in southern Sicily comes COS Rami 2023, a beautifully expressive skin-contact white made from equal parts Inzolia and Grecanico. Golden in the glass, it opens with inviting aromas of peach, lime zest, jasmine blossom and a gentle hint of honey. The palate has layers of orchard fruit, apricot and pomelo, carried by fine tannins and a refreshing, lightly saline finish. Textural, bright and wonderfully savoury, it’s a vibrant take on Sicilian “orange wine” with real lift and length.

Farmed organically and biodynamically, the grapes are fermented on their skins in concrete for about a week, then aged for seven months before bottling—allowing both purity and personality to shine through. COS, one of Sicily’s most influential natural wine producers, continues to champion tradition, craftsmanship and vineyard expression with this radiant, medium-bodied release that’s just as happy beside mezze, grilled seafood or aromatic Mediterranean dishes as it is enjoyed on its own.
