Black currant, cherries and cola with soft herbs and lovely tannins. 

A note from the winemaker: From the Leask family’s Sand Road Vineyard. An absolutely stellar site for this variety, managed so thoughtfully and carefully with emphasis on regenerative agriculture and biodiversity. Very lucky to have a small parcel of this fruit, so we carefully tip it into an open fermenter, foot tread daily to build Italian style tannins before being pressed to neutral barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
