Ada Wine Co. Rift Chardonnay 2022

Savoury, fleshy and textural, with ripe melons, stone fruits and spice. The palate is rich and powerful but fresh and vibrant.

A note from the winemaker: grapes from Summertown, Adelaide Hills. Perched high up behind Mount Lofty at 540m above sea level on a North-East facing slope. Vines are 30 Years old. Organic Farming.

Hand picked and whole bunch pressed to the tank. Left to settle before transferring to seasoned old french oak barrels for fermentation. Lees stirred once weekly over an 8 week period then left to settle. Topped regularly. Bottled with minimal sulphides after 10 months.
