Ada Wine Co. Babs Chardonnay 2025

Named after my dear grandma Barbara AKA BABS.

From a vineyard in Forreston, Adelaide Hills planted in the early 90's. The vineyard in certified organic and the clone is I10v1.

Fruit was picked at optimal ripeness and whole bunch pressed to French oak for barrel ferment. No new oak was used for this wine. The wine spends 9 months in oak and 3 months in  stainless steel before bottling. 

The wine is fleshy, textural and has beautiful aromatics and finishes fresh and vibrant.

Drink now or hold for a few years.
